Welcome to RunRoots. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to RunRoots. RunRoots operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”). Our store is hosted on Shopify.

By visiting, interacting with or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Access and account

You confirm you are at least the age of majority in your country or have parental consent. Provide current and accurate information. You are responsible for your account and all activity under it.

2. Products

We aim to display products accurately. Colors and appearance can vary by device. Product information can change without notice. We may limit or discontinue products at our discretion.

3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we dispatch the goods. We may refuse or cancel for error, unavailability, payment issues, or suspected fraud. If we cancel, we refund any amounts paid. Purchases are for personal use, not resale or export.

4. Prices, taxes and billing

Prices are in euros and include Belgian VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery and processing charges are shown at checkout. We may correct pricing errors. You must use valid and authorized payment methods. You are responsible for any import duties or taxes outside your country where applicable.

5. Shipping and delivery

We currently ship within the EU. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier, customs or external delays are outside our control. Risk and title pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier.

6. Returns and right of withdrawal

We are a slow fashion brand. Each item is produced to order to avoid overstock and reduce waste. Please use our size guide and contact us before ordering to minimize returns.

Your legal right

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you or a third party designated by you receives the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise the right, email info@runroots.com with your order number and a clear statement of withdrawal before the 14-day period ends. You may use a model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

Returning goods

• Send items back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of withdrawal.

• Items must be returned clean, unused, and in their original packaging with tags where applicable.

• You bear the direct cost of return shipping and are responsible for the parcel until it reaches us. Please obtain proof of postage and a tracking number.

• Return address and instructions will be provided by email after you notify us.

Refunds

• We refund all payments received for the goods, including the standard outbound delivery cost if charged, no later than 14 days from the day you inform us of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.

• Refunds are made to the original payment method. We may deduct any loss in value resulting from unnecessary handling.

Defective or wrong item

If you received a defective or incorrect item, contact info@runroots.com within 14 days of delivery. We will repair, replace, or refund according to applicable consumer law and will cover reasonable return shipping in these cases.

7. Intellectual property

All content and materials on the Services are owned by RunRoots or our licensors. No reproduction or exploitation without written consent. RunRoots is a trademark of RunRoots. Shopify and other marks belong to their owners.

8. Optional tools and third-party links

Access to third-party tools or sites is provided as is and as available. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, products or services. Review their terms and policies before use.

9. Relationship with Shopify

RunRoots is powered by Shopify. All sales are made directly with RunRoots. Shopify is not responsible for your transactions with us. You release Shopify from claims arising from your purchases with RunRoots.

10. Feedback

If you submit reviews, ideas or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for operating and improving the Services. You confirm you have the rights to your submission and that it does not infringe others’ rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

11. Prohibited uses

Do not use the Services for unlawful or harmful purposes, to infringe IP rights, to spread malware, to harass others, to scrape data, or to interfere with security. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

12. Errors and availability

Information may contain errors or omissions, including pricing and availability. We may correct and update information or cancel orders that rely on inaccurate information.

13. Circumstances beyond our control

We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control. We will perform as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated by RunRoots, the Services and products are provided as is and as available. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free use.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RunRoots is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or data. Nothing limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or rights you cannot waive under Belgian or EU law.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You remain liable for amounts due up to termination.

17. Governing law and forum

Belgian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory EU consumer protections. Disputes are submitted to the competent Belgian courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on the website. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
